Before someone decides to order a video, it is worth to clarify several things in order to get the very video of some minutes what they really envisioned. Here we collected all the relevant questions that we discuss with our customers before any proposals or offers.
The first and most important question is that what the purpose of the video will be. What are you going to use it for and where would you like to publish it? Would it be an image film for a website, or for an exhibition? Or would it appear on an LCD display of an office, of a shop, or a of waiting room? Would it be a summary of an event? Would it be used for to popularize a service, a product or a person via a website? Would we shoot the video for Facebook campaigns or other social media campaigns? Would you like to make a video-blog post? What do you really want show with this video? Would it be about goals, design, teams, products, stories, services...?
Who is your target audience? Whom should we address the video to? This essentially determines the style of the film.
How long should the video be? How much can we deter from the specified lenghts of the video according to the recorded material during the cutting process?
Would you like if someone have some words in the video? Who would be speaking, and how many people would be speaking? What is the function of the speaker? Will he tell information about the thing we show in the video, or will he be the one who is presented in the video? Will you need actors/mutes/personas or will the real leaders/workers speak? Do we need a stylist, makeup artist or hairdresser to prepare the players?
Do we need actors/mutes/players for the shooting of the video? What kind of any other objects and instruments will we need for the shooting?
Would you like to use photos in the video? If yes, how many photos would you use, and how many of it have you in stock? Are these free to choose or are you attach to use some of the photos in the video? What is the purpose of the usage of photos in the video?
Would you like to have some narration in the video? Do you have the text already or do you need a text-writing expert? How much is the lengths of the text? Do you have someone to read it out loud or is it the task of the entrusted company to find a narrator and to record the narration?
Would you like to have music or musical montage in the video? Do you have any idea of the type of music you would use, or do you leave it to the video makers?
Is there any concrete idea of the scenario? Or have you got an idea of a story, a gag, or anything that you want to see in the film?
Would you like to have animation in the video? Should it be moving pictures, maps, charts?
What is the planned location of the shooting of the video? One or more places? Budapest and / or the countryside?
Is there a video that you saw and you would like order a similar to it - either in content, in mood or in pictorally?
What is the deadline to shoot the video? What format, in what media do you need it? Internet access, uploaded on a video sharing site, or DVD?
